Résumé de la thèse

Thesis Proposal|

The proposed research aims to highlight the existing dialectic between internal social events among the Palestinian population in Israel and political attitudes toward the state. My project emphasizes the sectarian division that exists within the society and illuminates how it affects and is affected by the contemporary political context. To extrapolate these findings, I will investigate how young Palestinian and Arab populations within Israel’s 1948 borders perceive of the relationship between the perception of sectarianism, identity and political attitudes towards the state and the conflict. This research project is called

“Perspectives on the Relationship between Sectarian Identity, Political Attitudes, and Colonial Policies”.
